Selected work

Cokpit

Kavish, running Claude Code and Codex sessions all day across a workstation and a hub VM.

Agent coding sessions on one PC and a home server were scattered across terminals with no shared view and no way to keep them alive across restarts.

Role Sole designer, builder and operator.

Result Installed and used daily; version 0.0.38 installed October 2026; its hub daemon runs on a home server and keeps every session alive across restarts; a private alpha with a public site at cokpit.dev.

2026-06 to present. Rust, Tauri v2, React 19, TypeScript, Vite, pnpm, tokio, axum, rusqlite.

Sayso

Kavish, dictating specs, messages and notes into whatever program is in front.

Dictating into any Windows program needed a push-to-talk tool that types what was said, learns the speaker's vocabulary, and stays out of the way.

Role Sole designer, builder and operator.

Result The Rust app is installed on his PC since October 2026 and replaced the Python version; 132 Rust tests; about 4 MB of memory and no CPU at idle.

2026-06 to present. Rust, Tauri v2, React 19, TypeScript.

Routr

Kavish and the agent sessions that run his work.

Agent work across two subscriptions and an API lane needed one place that picks the model for each task, enforces the pick, and keeps both wallets inside their limits.

Role Sole designer, builder and operator.

Result Every delegated task since September 2026 goes through the dispatcher; the September 2026 audit found 765 launches, each on the correct model seat; 923 tests.

2026-09 to present. Python 3.13, Claude Code hooks, OpenRouter API.

The hub and server infrastructure

Kavish's own machines, agents and services, and the clients his VPS serves.

A one-person studio's agents, services and code needed a home server, private source hosting and a private network that one person can run and keep secure.

Role Sole designer, builder and operator.

Result A Proxmox host at home with a hub VM that runs Cokpit's session daemon, a finance tracker and a job watcher; 21 repositories moved to private GitHub with secret-scanning hooks; the VPS origin hardened behind Cloudflare.

2026-08 to present. Proxmox, Ubuntu 24.04, Tailscale, git, bash, PowerShell, systemd.

UPS Store kiosk

Walk-in customers of a UPS Store franchise in Sacramento, and the staff who support them.

The store's self-service print and ship kiosk needed replacing with something the store could update without a vendor.

Role Sole designer, builder and operator, for the store as a client.

Result Running on the store floor since 2026; signed auto-updates install before logon; sessions end themselves after five idle minutes and bill only for the time used; 848 commits.

2026-06 to present. Python, Flask, Rust, Tauri v2, Square.

lofa4507.com

Customers sending files to the store, and the store's staff and managers.

A UPS Store franchise needed a way for customers to send print files securely and for staff to run the store's daily records from one place.

Role Sole designer, builder and operator, for the store as a client; his first production system.

Result In production, used by staff daily; 415 commits and 795 tests; four security batches live in September 2026.

2026-03 to present. Python, Flask, SQLite, Docker, AWS SES, Cloudflare.
